Question / Help Micro-Stuttering during OBS Preview & Live Streaming

I had an issue with micro-stuttering that occurred during both the preview of OBS/SLOBS as well as while live streaming.

After searching everywhere online, all I personally found was other people with the exact problem. None of the typical solutions like bitrate adjustment, presets, etc. worked for me nor for these other people. The issue primarily popped up for people, like myself, who were connecting a capture card to the PC and displaying it as a Video Capture Source on OBS.

I found the solution (I know this is technically a question, but wanted to ensure people knew to try this) for this problem, at least for myself that could work out for other people as well.

When you add your Capture Card as a Video Capture Source, go into the properties of the Video Capture Source (I personally am using an Avermedia Live Gamer Portable 2 Plus...long name I know).

Once you are there, you will find all the usual settings, but you want to look for "Buffer". This will, more than likely, be set to 'Auto-Detect' by default. Image of the setting below:

Select the drop-down for Buffer and switch the setting from 'Auto-Detect' to 'Enable'. As long as your other settings like the Output Framerate are set correctly, you should now see your Preview running at the full (near as your capture card can replicate it) 60fps instead of the stuttering mess it was before.

Sorry, if this isn't the right section for this post, but I wanted everyone to know to at least try this out. I had this issue for so long with several different cards and I never found a solution online, maybe it'll help a few people get their stream and preview to not stutter. If this post needs to moved/taken down and reposted elsewhere, please tell me...didn't think it warranted a full 'Guide' post.
