Hello all, I started using Multiplatform about a week ago and it was amazing! For this current week's streams I've had to switch back to regular OBS on the fly while I was streaming as I was getting uncontrollable frame stutter and FPS lag streaming out of Multiplatform. I use identical settings as in the standard OBS application.
I figured I'd kick this thread off while I was at work and post a log tonight when I get home. This is the log from my previous unrelated issue (text resize causing instant crashes):
http://pastebin.com/8SShRCj4
So that thread dump might be useless. I can tell you that I have added the plugin which allows you to play video as a source like OBS vanilla has, and I do have several videos playing at one time on my break screen, and my start screen. However, these are not present on my main stream scene. I do play one small MP4 and run a few CLR browser sources in addition to my webcam, and game source.
Does OBS keep those videos spun up in the background from other scenes? If so that could cause issues, they are massive .mov's with alpha channels. Would adding them as global sources help anything? I'd love to use multiplatform for tonights stream as it raises the production quality quite a bit. Thanks!
