Bug Report Micomsoft SC-512N1-L/DVI

Hi Everyone,

I'm not sure if this is an isolated situation here, but i'm getting a hard crash (BSOD) every time i try to add the SC 512 as a video capture device. I BSOD showing the SA7160 driver as the culprit the moment it starts to initialize in OBS.

Does anyone with this capture card have this problem? If not, which driver are you using?

Im using the special Startech driver and I do not get a BSOD.

The drivers i'm talking about you can find here - http://www.startech.com/AV/Converte...re-Card-1080p-HDMI-DVI-VGA-Component~PEXHDCAP

They're actually newer drivers than what comes with the SC-512 and enable a few more cool options, like RGB output.

@dodgepong yup it does work perfectly with the original OBS

@LtRoyalShrimp thanks man, i've seen those already but i'm using the even more recent ones from Yuan over here http://www.yuan.com.tw/en/market/software/vidblasterdriver/vidblasterdriver.htm I'm guessing this is the problem.

Generally speaking, BSODs are due to driver issues. OBS itself can't cause BSODs directly, so that is more likely the issue.
