Mic track just stops working mid stream

Hi

I Can't seem to find anyone here with the same issue so...

I'm using the latest version of OBS with the latest version of MacOS Catalina

My setup is one audio track from Loopback capturing the computer audio (mainly Ableton, Edge, VLC etc) and one mic track capturing the mic from the soundcard input
Now I don't why but somehow the mic track just stops working midstream, sometimes after 30 minutes, sometimes 2 hours...and won't comeback unless I cut the stream and restart OBS
I'm not doing anything special when it cuts, the audio keeps coming fine from the soundcard but there is just no signal anymore in OBS
So far my workaround was switching to a Loopback input with my mic routed and it worked but unfortunately...not anymore

The log file registers the soundcard initializing but I don't have any issue or anything cutting on the Ableton side for example
Also I had this issue with different soundcards connected on different ports with different mics and the loopback "computer audio" track never crashes so I'm a bit lost

Something clashing with Ableton or the camlink ? Any idea anyone ?

Did your audio mixers in the GUI disappear as well? I recently had an issue on Windows where the audio subsystem seemed to just disappear.

Restarting didn't work... I had to Reset the GUI and then it all came back.
