Question / Help Mic Stutters when Certain Programs Play Background Music

How can I troubleshoot the following issue? On OBS Studio for Windows, when I record, my mic stutters at random (within a range of 0-30 seconds) and its volume fluctuates (from inaudible to original volume) whenever I play background music. I use a VMODA headphone with mic cable that serves as an audio jack-based microphone (not USB-based). I’ve tried playing background music from different internet browsers and from Windows Media Player (tested MPEG-4 and MP3 files). When the background music is off, even if the browser/player is open, the mic’s volume stabilizes (i.e. completely fine). What puzzles me is that, if the background music is sound from a game, the issue disappears. When I played the visual novel game “Long Live the Queen,” it did not cut out my mic at all. Below is my most recent log. How do I begin piecing together what’s happening here?

----------Update----------

I set the Windows Sound Control Panel: Communications to "Do Nothing." It didn't resolve the mic issue.

Was able to stream "Broken Age" without any notable mic issues using game capture, but still can't use window capture to stream and play background music from a browser or Windows Media Player without mic stuttering. Resolving this issue would allow me to stream drawings on ArtRage Studio.
