Hey guys !
So, as the title says, my friend's mic picks up her Desktop Audio only on OBS, altho there's no reason it should pick it up.
Here's a little bit of facts and what we did (just so you know) :
- It's a Corsair HS60 Pro headset, with USB connection (and I've seen a lot of people complaining about this problem, with no real solution)
- OBS is the latest
- Audio is setup properly through the audio settings both in Windows and OBS
- ReaVST Plugins are setup (both comp and fir, according to protoMagicalGirl's tutorial on YT)
- AGC is disabled in Windows Sound System
- Drivers are up-to-date, everything in Discord is setup, ALL other sound devices in Windows are disabled
Problem is, it doesn't seem to be sound that the mic actually picks up if, like, the headset is too loud. I tried having her put music on her computer, and put the Headset volume to 0, and still the mic was picking up sound, which would be impossible. I had her change USB Port, still nothing. I'm absolutely at a loss because her sound on streams echoes, so it's not pleasant to watch her when she's got people playing with her, and I have no idea what to do after all I tried.
If you guys have any idea, I'd give it to her and report to you asap ! Thank you guys ♥
