Mic only picking up my voice if I'm loud

So I'm trying to stream but I realized no one could hear me. So I did some testing with my mic and it turns out my voice kept cutting in and out because it was only picking up my voice if it was above a certain threshold. If I'm loud, it picks up fine. If I'm talking at a normal level it doesn't pick up at all in OBS.

However the mic works fine in other programs and when I test it in sound setting it works great. I'm using Logitech G Pro X's.

Log file is included.

I had the same problem on a recent live stream.... did you get it resolved? I just checked my settings and found that I had a noise gate filter turned on (that I forgot about). I turned it off today and will be testing it on my next stream.

Right. As I mentioned, I had the noise gate filter on but had forgotten about it. I switched it off, and will be testing it on my next stream. hopefully that will fix it. Then I can try to figure out a setting that will get rid of background noise, but not my voice.

I'd recommend trying out the Expander filter. It makes quiet sounds quieter. The Noise Gate is essentially just a very aggressive expander that only does on or off. The Expander lets you make things below a certain volume (say -40dB) quieter by a certain amount (a 2:1 ratio will make it half as loud, a 10:1 will be 1/10th).
This will NOT eliminate background noise while you're talking, but it will clean up a lot of the 'hiss' and background fan noise that normally gets drowned out by your voice while speaking, but is very audible when you're not.
