Mic on video camera connected to ATEM mini not being picked up by OBS

I am using a video camera connected to an ATEM mini pro as my video input source on obs. The mic attached to the video camera is being picked up by the ATEM mini but not being picked up by the obs. I've selected the ATEM mini as the video input source and also selected that as an audio input source but still no audio.
