Question / Help Mic not streaming unless monitoring

Hi,

I just started streaming again for the first time in a while. Right now the only way I can get my mic to go to the stream is to have it on "Monitor and Output." I want to output the mic obviously but I do not want to hear it in my headset. Is there a way around this? I have all audio going to Track 1 and Track 1 is selected to be the stream audio.

If you get audio in your stream when you have a device selected to "monitor and output" but NOT when it is selected to "output only", do you hear the audio while streaming?

It sounds to me like you may be selecting for recording the device you're using for monitoring instead of the device you actually want to record, and that's why you get audio recorded with monitoring on but not with it off.
