So my mic isn't even an option to use in OBS, but under the "sound" category in mac settings it shows up there. My mic used to work fine in OBS and now I don't understand what's happening. I've tried multiple different ones (headphones with mics). None of them are heard by OBS or are an option in the place where you choose what mic to use. I have iShowU and Soundflower on here and I believe I was using iShowU to stream my mic audio. My mic and headphones port are combined if that helps.
Edit: some additional info i thought would be useful-
Also, the headphones/mic is just a random pair that I bought from Goodwill. My mic works fine in Discord unless I have OBS open. I read some forum online where a guy said headphone mics won't work EVER on Macs unless they are plugged in with a special device, but that's clearly not the case since it's worked on OBS before and it works on Discord. He was probably a salesman of some sort lol. If I try to use the multi whatever device I made, it just "screams" really loud on-stream and then echoes the music and game audio. Also, these headphones don't work on my phone because they just open Siri over and over again.
