Question / Help Mic issues

Hi, I just recently got a new pc and like all my other programs I had to download OBS. After I downloaded OBS and tried to test it out I found out that my mic was EXTREMELY quiet. When I had OBS on my old computer with the same mic it worked fine but now it has audio issues. I tried boosting the audio in the mixer settings and I bumped it up all the way to 2000 but the audio only increased a small bit. If you know how to solve this issue please tell me.

1. Make sure that your mic is properly configured (e.g. gain +20dB) in Windows/your audio interface settings.
2. Use a Gain filter in OBS.
