Mic feed to sound blaster stopped working

I am just getting this new environment setup at our church. I have the church laptop and my personal laptop for testing purposes. We are running the latest version of OSB Studio and have the NDI plugin installed. We are good with video recording, but had trouble figuring out how to capture audio from our new Allen and Heath ZED 24 analog mixer. We had a 1/8" TRS cable plugged into a Creative Labs USB Sound blaster model SB1730. It worked initially on both the church laptop (Dell G16 7630) and a Microsoft Surface Laptop 5. The audio is still captured on the Surface laptop in OSB Studio via the Sound Blaster, but we no longer can get audio from the mixer into OSB Studio. I can get audio into other apps on the church laptop, the problem is limited to OSB Studio. I deleted the Sound blaster device from the church laptop and reinstalled it. Out of desperation I also uninstalled OSB Studio on the church laptop and reinstalled it. Neither of these attempts to resolve it changed my symptoms. Meanwhile my personal laptop continues to function fine in OSB Studio capturing audio from the mixer using the same sound blaster and cable that was used with the church laptop.
