Mic disabled, but still: Mic showing up. Enabling = double the source

Hi,

really annoying error at the moment and I don't know how to fix it. Sometimes it's there. Sometimes not. Rebooting several times sometimes fixes it. Also: clean deinstall + reinstall. Sometimes.

If all Mics are disabled - OBS doesn't agree and acts different. Also this is the ORIGINAL source, due to all filters being still applied. If enabling the mic, it adds the same source - again. Without filters. Disabling removes the "new" (filterless) source. Of course this causes occasional crashes.

Running: OBS 29.0.2

P. S.: I can't attach any log or crash files, becauses... when OBS crashes, it doesn't create any. It just crashes (closes).

Still no fix and meanwhile I'm really annoyed. Especially 'cause the only working fix (remove+add via settings) removes the filter...

Global Audio Devices are made available in every scene.
Do you have the same device set as an Audio Input Capture in the Sources section in any of the scenes you are using? That would explain it being doubled.

Global Audio Devices are made available in every scene.
By default. And to make my life easier, I disabled all of the Global Audio Input devices. So there is no Desktop/Global Audio source in my OBS setup. Instead, I add the appropriate Audio source in each scene as appropriate. but there are situations where that won't work

Don't ignore the pinned post in this forum on posting your OBS log from a Recording/Streaming session. 3rd party plugins sometimes cause unexpected behavior
