I use OBS for recording and live streaming in a couple online karaoke groups. Up until this morning, it was fine. Suddenly when I do a fry scream and try to sing anything from Slipknot, Avatar, Powerman 5000, etc...the mics cut out entirely when I distort my voice. I've tried doing the same pitch, same volume, same mic distance with a clean note and it works fine, but every distorted sound gets lost as the mic cuts away.
This same effect is happening on 2 different studio mics, one home studio, and 3 different XLR handheld mics....same problem in OBS but all work fine recording in Audacity or using in Zoom.
