Bug Report Mic Audio Skipping During Recording and streams

Hey guys, I am having a problem with OBS specifically in which my mic audio skips half way through every word I say. This is an obs exclusive problem and I have no idea why its doing this but can not find a fix to it myself. I have moved over to other streaming services and the mic audio sounds crystal clear with no hiccups or problems and it comes through just as well in discord so I know its not the mic messing up. I have exactly the same problem, is it like this sound? before, I did not know if it was because of some configuration or a glitch, but this problem did not exist before and I want to make sure that it is not my microphone that is having problems, the noise is spontaneous, it rarely comes out during the videos , but it becomes annoying.
