Mic audio issues

Hello. I am having an issue where ill start recording a video and my mic audio will be extremely muffled. IF it corrects itself, which it wont, most of the time, but IF it does, my voice will sound fine...for a few minutes and then it just stops capturing my audio at all. Im tried many different solutions that I have found online. I have my mic set as one of my sources, I have the gain filter added to make sure my voice is hitting a certain threshold. I have all other audio devices disabled in the OBS settings. Computer audio settings are set up to allow apps to use my mic...i dont know what else could be causing this. If anybody has any ideas, please help.

"Muffled" could be a number of things. Sometimes it's too loud somewhere and clipping, and people say that. Sometimes there's an electrical problem or a processor somewhere that kills the high frequencies (sibilance, intelligibility), and people say that. Sometimes it's a digital problem, like bad buffer management, and the result is like shredding a tape, spreading out the pieces a bit and gluing them down again, and running *that* past the playhead. Etc.

A recording would help a lot.

So it would seem I have fixed the issue. Its recording my voice fine...for now...however, it is still cutting out my mic audio completely after about 6-7 minutes of recording. Ive noticed that that time frame is pretty consistent with different videos that I have tried to record.

In that case, a logfile would be good, to see if anything's going on around that time. And a recording of the same session that includes the same failure.
