I've been using Adobe Audition to feed mic audio to OBS via Virtual Audio Cable for the last number of years. Last week I began having issues with crackling and some minor drops in mic audio which seemed to be fixed by a restart, however the issue has now escalated severely. Upon booting up I will have heavily distorted audio through the mic which then degenerates into nothing but occasional little clicks as the mic tries to connect.
I've double and triple checked every setting ensuring the likes of sample rates are correct etc. I've reinstalled OBS, VB Cable and Audition and even tried older OBS builds but to no avail. Game audio is unaffected and connecting the mic directly to OBS reveals the mic is working fine. The meters in Audition also indicate that the mic is feeding into Audition with no issues.
I've linked my most recent recording log file below and I'd be really appreciative if someone could take a look at it for me.
