I have a Blue Yeti that I use for recording my own voice. Everything is good as far as quality goes until I start talking. In the background, I have a fan and the mic is picking it up only when I talk. I thought adjusting the gate would keep any noise at a certain volume out. When I am not talking the gate is preventing the fan noise. I have a noise suppression on as well but, it makes no difference.
Any suggestions?
