Question / Help Mic Audio Cuts Out

OBS MP 0.11.4 64bit
Windows 10
Mic: SM7B->Audient iD22 interface(->side-channeled into Warm Audio WA76 compressor)->PC

Recording from mic works in other applications, but in OBS MP, about 80% of the audio is cut-out. It sounds almost like a loose connection or a limiter cutting parts of it off, but that's not the case (again, records fine elsewhere).I recorded an example, but it wouldn't upload, even after compressing it.

Since there hasn't been a reply and others have reported this problem, too, I've filed bug #291

Have you solved this yet? I have tried multiple interfaces, scarlett 2i2, m-audio fast track pro, and now audient id22 and have had issues with each one integrating with OBS. Sound sputters, or it crashes out.

I believe it to be some issue with varying sample rates and it trying to convert too much and record and stream all at once.

Okey I had the same bug/error and thats what I recommend (it worked for me):

-The bug is related with the filter > noise removal, so disable the noise removal in the filters of your mic.
Actually i'm testing and it seems that only removes the audio (or cuts the audio) if you have an old mic or a bad mic which records your voice really low (you can easily know that if you always have to turn down a lot the music/sounds from a game in order to listen your voice in a recording), that can be understanded for OBS that your voice is only a noise (since you are talking very quite compared to other sounds) and thats why after 5-10 seconds the OBS cuts the voice.
I'm also testing if adjusting the sensitivity of the noise removal in OBS have an effect in the cuts.
