Strange problem. As of the 21.0.1 update to OBS Studio, my mic frequently crackles while it is transmitting. Doesn't matter if I'm speaking loudly or quietly, consistently at length or in short transmit bursts. It's just completely random, no rhyme or reason to it- except that it only happens when I'm streaming. Just recording audio through Audacity produces no crackles, nor does just recording video through OBS itself. I only have this problem when I'm live. Here is an example from my latest stream (timestamp is 42:45 or so), please take a look so you can get an idea of what's happening. My audience can hear this on the stream, but I can't when I'm monitoring it through OBS myself.
For reference:
- I use a Blue Yeti microphone that is basically new and has no issues otherwise
- This did not happen before I updated to 21.0.1
- The mic is not peaking, far from it in most cases, and it's a different sound
- I have tried reconnecting the mic, defaulting all my OBS mic settings and changing them manually, and so on
- OBS reports no issues detecting my microphone audio and I've made sure it's at the right frequency etc.
Anyone else have this problem? I've uploaded the log file from my last stream but I doubt there'll be anything of use on it since this is purely an audio issue. The log is also incorrect, it's missing a switch to my 'Main' scene, but that's just a small aside.
