Hi, I´m new in OBS. I am trying to play and broadcast live through Facebook using my laptop connected to my Focusrite 2i2 audio interface , mic, guitar and my HELIX guitar processor. I am experiencing latency when I speak or play my guitar. I set inputs and outputs correctly but can´t fix the problem. I can´t play with the backing track because of this latency....so frustrating....

You need to plug your headphones directly into the focusrite's monitoring port, and set your windows audio to go to the focusrite.

There will always be latency when dealing with software audio processing, so if you're trying to use OBS's monitoring feature, that will not work for your purpose. The monitoring port on audio interfaces is meant to be a real-time monitor of whatever audio signal is being captured, which is mixed with the output from your computer. You will probably need to adjust sync between your desktop audio and your focusrite's input audio in OBS, but this is the only way you're going to be able to have realtime monitoring for your purpose.

also, make sure you are using helix / focusrite into OBS as ASIO devices (you'll need to install the OBS ASIO plugin. just google it).

FWIW I also use helix and a 2i2
