I'm pretty new to OBS so apologies if I'm missing something basic but I've tested and searched to no avail. Basically my audio from my mic, and the audio recorded from the display capture and discord is very out of sync, the audio from Discord is playing about 40 seconds after the visuals from the screen and my mic. This makes it unusable since conversations can't really be followed. Is there any way to salvage this recording now? If not how do I record without this happening in the future?
Here is some context that may help:
I recently recorded an RPG session on Roll20 - I wanted to do the recording myself and not trouble my friends with it so I resorted to a bit of an unconventional setup which may have led to my issues. As I was a GM running the game, there would be certain things visible on my perspective that I didn't want showing up in the recording, so I created a second Roll20 account as a player to record the perspective from that account. I plugged my laptop into my TV screen with HDMI, put the recording perspective on the screen, and controlled things from the GM side on my laptop screen. Everything except the browser being recorded from was on my laptop if that changes anything.
