Question / Help Metallic Buzz, only in OBS, and it goes away!

Im hoping this is something obvious others have dealt with. I just brought a new mic because i was blaming the old one.
I made a 30 minute video. I had the buzzing issue (which i didnt last night when I set it up and tested with OBS!) for the first 6 min and 20 seconds, and then it just goes away.
Here is a 34 second clip to give you an idea - the buzz is present for 22 seconds, then magically goes away for the rest of the video.
- any idea whats causing it?
- any idea why it goes away on its own?

The recording area was dead silent and consistent for all 30 minutes i recorded.

buzz that vanishes on its own 22 sec into clip

Sorry to bump but Ive seen 4 posts now referencing metallic sounds and none had example clips, so I hope this might help not just me but the others with same issue

it has gone away. is there a part of OBS that "learns"? I haven't changed anything, and the new mic only had issues for about 10 min total, fingers crossed. I am using filters on the mic:

- Gain (OBS)
- Noise Remover (Reaper VST)
- Noise Gate (Reaper)
- Equalizer (Reaper)
- Compressor (Reaper)
- Limiter (OBS)

While Im glad the mic seems to be working, I am uncomfortable i dont know what caused the problem, nor what fixed it. Any insights appreciated.

There is no part of OBS that learns. It's just that a lot of audio issues are upstream of OBS, so things that change in Windows, across reboots, when audio devices are connected/disconnected, can affect OBS even if nothing in OBS is actually changed.
