Question / Help Media Sources flicker when swapping

I have 2 media sources on my scene and I switch between them with a hotkey. For some reason, it will flicker the last frame of the media file before it plays from the start. So every time I switch, it will flicker and doesn't give a smooth transition between them. I have it setup to restart playback when source becomes active and I'm not looping it or hiding it, since I want it to be static on the last frame for use.

What it is: I have made my overlay where it "morphs" in to another design. It works perfectly besides that last frame flicker.

Any ideas? Also, if you guys think you need an exact visual of what it does, I could probably record it and put up
Suggestions on how to fix would be fantastic!

I'm experiencing the same issue of the last frame of the video file displaying when the media source becomes active and it's killing me lol

I'm also having this problem. It's frustrating as it ruins the transition.

I'm on a Mac Mini (2019), running latest version of OBS as at May 2020.

until now, I can't find solution how to avoid transition flicker between media sources, using Acer Nitro 5 with i5 11th gen, 16GB RAM, GTX1650TI

In the video properties, check the "Show nothing when playback ends" checkbox.

Update for my testing, still flickers when transitioning multiple media
