Media source time limit

I am creating a a media source for a countdown timer. I made the timer for 15 minutes before I start my stream. When I create the source it only allows for a five minute play time. Can I make that longer or are media source files restricted to a max of five minutes?

i have media sources that are hours long, the duration is typically determined by the media source itself.
