This is a persistent problem I encounter on Linux (Mint). It does not happen on Windows. When I have Media Sources and I skip through and back a couple of times, the monitoring gets way out of sync.
What I do:
I move the playhead of the Media Source around while it is playing.
What happens:
The audio starts lagging. The audio keeps playing for a bit after I press Stop, and when I resume playing, the audio starts later than the video. When this has happened, it stays out of sync until I restart OBS. When I record everything, the recording is in sync. It's only the monitoring that goes haywire.
Side note: when I use an offset on a Media Source in the Advanced Audio Settings, it does not change the offset in the monitoring on Linux. However, when I do the same on Windows, it does change the offset in monitoring of a Media Source.
I hope someone knows a solution or at least has an explanation to why this is happening in Linux, but not on Windows. It happens on all versions of OBS (including the latest Beta 4).
