alright, so i have a video that i created that's a countdown timer to when my stream starts. and i would like to be able to start that video at any time that i want, from the beginning.
with the Video Source Plugin for beta OBS, i could do this just by hiding and then showing the video source, and it would restart the video from the beginning. easy. however when i do this with a Media Source, it still plays when it's hidden, and therefore when it's shown again, it's in the middle of the video. i'd like to be able to just hide it until i'm ready to use it, and then show it and have it start counting down.
i would just open it in VLC or something and screen capture it, however it has transparency since it's overlayed over my startup screen, and that wouldn't work.
so my question is is there a way to control when the video starts/stops, or have it unload and not play when hidden, and if not, is there a possibility that this could be added in the future?
