Media Source not showing

When I try to put a video on media source it does not work all it does is have a teenie tiny red box on the top left corner does anyone have a solutian to help
 
If you don't have VLC installed, download and install it, close and re-open add and then try with a VLC Video source. If still having issues

OBS Studio creates a log file each time you run it which contains very useful diagnostic information. Without a log file, it's much harder for any support volunteers to figure out problems and your post may be ignored. To upload a log file, go to the Help menu > Log Files > Upload Last Log...
