this is not really a bug, I just wanted to report this anyway and maybe I'm doing something wrong and someone can point that out to me.
I'm using a network based (IP) camera as an input in OBS. I can do that fine with a directshow filter from the web (alax.info JPEG Video Input Devices). I get smooth FPS with that filter (I can't measure them but video runs fluid so it should be in the 20ish range)
However if I'm adding my camera as a media source and place it's url directly into obs studio I get very choppy playback. If I play a video file with media source it works fine. I switched my mjpeg decoder to ffdshow but that doesn't change anything for me.
