Hello everybody!
I have tried almost everything and i don't know if i'm doing it right, but at least i can't get it to work properly.
Here goes the problem
Traktor2 streaming (with internal broad casting option) to Icecast2 server. I try to add this stream (192Kbit/ogg, .ogg is the only option for it) to OBS Studio via Media Source as network input. Problem is that the current song plays as my video audio track fine but if the current song ends/song changes in traktor, then audio cuts out (it seems to be exactly same time as the song artist and title changes in stream). This bug is repeatable and it happens every time, I have tried it in 2 different computers and with different versions of OBS studio. Helps only hiding/making visible the source and it will work fine until song ends or changes.
Icecast2 admin panel shows me connected clients user-agent as "Lavf/57.66.102" for OBS Studio.
The only way I could get it to work was to use obs classic with video source plugin which has user-agent (and with that obviously different codec) displayed as "VLC/2.1.3 LibVLC/2.1.3" But I like studio version more with all the video filters and stuff.
So in my opinion there is some problem with current obs studio codec how it's handling the stream. Is there an option to switch to another codec or add only audio stream with another codec?
For explanation why I use this kind of sorcery for streaming? I don't know easier way to get stream out from traktor (sometimes different computers for different dj-s) and using separate streaming pc in LAN. Don't have high-end sound card to do digital (traktor2) - analog (traktor kontrol s4) - analog (some soundcard with input) - digital (to stream) converting without losing lots of quality.
So long story short. Any help or suggestions?
