Question / Help Media Source and Video Playback

Hey guys !

I've been using OBS for quite some time now and I started using the MP version like a month ago or so, and I don't understand something. I stream on Twitch and I record the VODs at the same time. And, for a matter of time and sanity (6-7 hours of stream almost every day, so like 5-6 videos recorded at a time), I put a video at the beginning and the end of every recording using the Media Source. So far so good.

The problem is that videos I use don't start from the beginning. I put them on a loop since there's no control of the videos once they're launched.

So, my question is, is there a way to have a video starting the moment you switch to its scene ? Cause I didn't find the option to do that and it kinda saddens me since sometimes I have a full video playing and sometimes just the end :/

Oh, and BTW, I don't know if that's a choice or an error, but when you setup OBS on a language (cf English) and switch to another language, the options totally reboot... ^^

Any idea when this is comming?
I have the same problem. I use it for Pre-stream(Stream starting soon intro) and end stream.

And is kinda sad it's not working :(

Hello everyone!

I'm from a startup called Eadbox - we have a LMS platform which has a live streaming module, and OBS is among the softwares we reccomend for our clients to use. We recognize it's a wonderful tool, really intuitive according to our own experience and the feedback we collect from our users.

I'm posting this to attract whatever attention can be spared to this feature, which has been requested by some of our customers recently. We're currently suggesting using an external video player and adding a window capture layer to the streamings as a workaround, but it tends to get a little confusing when there's yet another software involved.

I believe it would be neat to have playback control over video content added to a scene, and therefore would like to know if this feature is indeed planned for the near future!

Would love to see this too. Ability to pause, scrub and start/stop a media source with standard controls would be VERY useful. Instant replay as well.
