Media controls vanished

A recent OBS update added media playback controls to the OBS desktop - I loved it!
When I opened OBS this morning, those controls had vanished.
Where did they go, and more importantly, how do I get them back?
It was a hotfix, #26.0.1.
I just had a popup that said it was installing, but it didn't work.

Thanks. Tried that, but no joy. The sad part is that this hotfix worked last week. I was excited about the improved control of playback media. Today, it's like it was all a dream.
