Hi guys,
I thought I'd post here before sending it to the ideas system just to get an idea on peoples thoughts.
Whilst doing a live broadcast this weekend we found that at times we were unsure of when a media source was going to finish. That was because we had moved to another scene in preparation.
So our sequence of events:
Load scene that has the media video in it and start playback (we see the progress bar, countdown, etc. GREAT!)
We switch to the next scene we want to use (separate camera, etc) and we now don't have the media bar showing so no idea how to cue to a presenter how long is left?
I believe the media controls were introduced in PR https://github.com/obsproject/obs-studio/pull/2380
So to me if possible, have a bar under live output showing whenever any media is playing it's progress.
AND if possible, send a counter/progress bar to the MultiView. That way the presenter who is monitoring the multiview can see a countdown/counter/progress of the video currently in playback?
Thanks for suggestions/thoughts guys.
Andy
