MBP 2017 recording problems

Hi everyone, I have an old MBP 2017 - 4 thunderbolt ports with these specifics:

.
I've tried to record an online lesson from Microsoft Teams but the video was very lagging and the audio sounded metallic with lots of interruptions.
Since my MacBook is running fine doing other normal tasks I don't get why there are all this problems using obs (moreover, I'm using Handbrake sometimes, which I think it's a quite stressing program for the CPU, but it runs fine and smoothly).
Now, I know my computer is quite old, but I used to record Teams lessons with obs on a 2013 iMac (which is now dead) without any problems, so it's quite strange why a more powerful machine gives all this troubles.
I've downloaded the latest version of obs (32.1.0), at first without messing with the settings, then I've also tried to ask a configuration to ChatGPT based on my specifics and he told me to use these settings:

; anyway, nothing changed.
Do you have any advise (besides buying a new machine xD), to make things work?
I only need to record the online lesson on MS Teams (slides and professor talking, while leaving the MacBook audio off; so I can study in the meantime), nothing fancy.
Thanks!
