Question / Help Max file size or max duration setting....

While recording a specific program window or specific screen section for continuously several hours, I may want to limit the maximum size (e.g. 10MB) or duration of the video clips (e.g. 00:05:00). I may still want to continue recording after the max is reached. In essence, it saves the video recording in increments vs 1 long recording.

How do I set this?

Basically I can autosave the video being streamed in case of program/system crash or if I want to immediately use some of the historical footage in other programs.

Simply save your file as .flv or .mkv and remux them to .mp4 when you're done recording (FIle--->Remux recordings), as these containers are far more merciful in terms of recovering your video file in the case of a crash. I've never had a single one not recover while .mp4 is catastrophic and unrecoverable.

There isn't a way to record in specific filesize or time duration, as far as I'm aware. It's usually done in post but I may be incorrect about this point.
