match recording quality of obs and premiere pro

Hi Everyone,

I am recording some videos with screen capture in OBS and recording the sound via a microphone.
I then edit everything in premiere pro.

The main issue I have is that when I edit it, I sometimes need to record a sentence over the video, I do it in premiere pro but the quality of the recording is very different (way better), which makes it obvious that this new recording is not recorded at the same time.

Is there a way to have both recording the same quality? ( the mic is exactly the same)

Audio routing/settings need to match as close as possible, including levels.

Practice

If you can't get the recording just right, simply fix it with Premiere.
