Hi,
So yesterday I streamed minecraft after a month of not streaming because of laziness
But the problem was I noticed when just opening OBS-Studio my FPS dropped from 200 (yes I limit my FPS because my GPU doing annoying noise when passing 500 FPS) to around 120 (for some reason around 100 FPS feel like 30-40 FPS)
And it is the first happening

And I don't know what is going on with it any idea what cause it?

PC Specs:
CPU:i7-4970
GPU:GTX 980 TI G1 Gaming 6G
For full pc spec:http://prntscr.com/azo6ly

I have no idea but just wanted to point out that you are using an old version of OBS Studio, can you upgrade to 0.14.1 and see if that helps?

Please don't bump your thread on the same day. It's generally considered the Internet equivalent of snapping your fingers or yelling at a waiter from across a restaurant.

Your first two logs have such varying differences that it's hard to say what's causing your issue.
  • You moved from Windows 8.1 to Windows 10.
  • You moved your second monitor from the Intel graphics adapter to the NVIDIA GTX 980 Ti.
  • The amount of memory available to OBS Studio decreased from 4GB to 2GB.
  • You went from 23 sources to 14 sources (probably a good thing).
  • Your oldest log doesn't show a recording/streaming attempt.
Your newest log also does not show a recording/streaming attempt. When posting logs, please make sure to try to record or stream, and collect the log after you have stopped that output. Otherwise, we can't see what your encoding settings are.

Let's get some more information. Please answer these questions:
  1. Does this happen with every game?
  2. Does this happen even on a simple scene collection with a single source (one monitor capture or window capture)?
  3. Does this happen when you disable the OBS Studio preview?
  4. What are your monitor refresh rates?
  5. Do you have OBS Studio on a separate monitor from your game?
  6. Do you have V-Sync enabled?
  7. Have you tried to limit OBS output to 30 FPS (Settings > Video > Common FPS Values)?
  8. Are you running a 64-bit or 32-bit version of Windows?
  9. What are your current Internet speeds? This is largely irrelevant to your current problem, but bear with me.

First thanks for helping
Second I know what you saying by I wanted to stream but I had this crappy problem and no one tried to help me
Third I updated my GPU driver and then it was back to normal but still my fps decreased when opening OBS

1. Never tried to stream something else
2. Yes but the decreased amount is less
3. Yes
4. Both 60
5. Don't really know what you meaning but when I stream my main monitor is running the game at fullscreen and in the second one there is my chat obs and twitchalerts stream label
6. Nope
7. I used to stream 720p 60 fps without any problems now I do on 720p 30
8. 64
9. 40 download 3 upload (you know Israel crappy connection...)

Edit: how can I give OBS studio more ram again

It's odd that the FPS drops when you disable the OBS Studio preview. Try to enable V-Sync to see if that improves the situation.

On a 64-bit operating system, use the 64-bit version of OBS Studio to ensure that it can access more memory.

Please also upload a log that actually shows a recording/streaming attempt, even if FPS is affected before recording/streaming.
