Question / Help Massive memory usage (16GB)

Hi

OBS is using about 16GB of memory. Sometimes when I close OBS not all of that memory gets free.

I suspect OBS does some inefficiant caching. I have for background about 50 jpg rotation in a playlist and in a frame +200 gifs running in a playlist (based on a folderscan).
I have the impression OBS loads those all into memory for caching.

Is there anything I can do to limit the memory usage?
Besides remove those gifs/backgrounds :-)

Use a browser source based slildeshow instead of the slideshow source.

What website would you recommend to load in a browser-based slideshow?

I also am running into this same issue. The image slideshow seems to load all the images at once, causing long startups of OBS. It would be nice if this wasn't the case, and the slideshow could load/unload images as needed (possibly loading a few extras in advance, especially when randomized.)

Did anyone come up with a good browser-based solution that doesn't require pre-typing all of the image names in advance?
