Question / Help Masking a cropped resource

I got a 1920x1080 webcam source that i am cropping to another size so it fits the hud of the game. I want to apply an alpha mask so to create a grunge effect on the borders of the camera. When i add the mask it disregards the cropped size and only applies to the sides that are not cropped (the ones with the red lines). Is there any way to apply the mask to the cropped dimensions of the source and not to the original?

Thank you for your help :>

Create the mask for the 1920x1080 source to make your camera look the way you want it and then crop it down to size.

Also, if you're sizing down the camera (not using it for full screen viewing), consider lowering the resolution. You're using resources to render a FullHD source only to show a downsized version of it. It's just a waste of resourses. 720p will look just as good and will take about 1/4th less stress to show the source.

Absolutely, this does not work on a cropped source.
And if we use a mask at the dimensions of the cropped source, the mask is applied to the content not the container, so it doesn't work.
