Question / Help Many issues, unable to record a specific window, unable to update

hey there, good morning

I find many issue with OBS
1) I cannot update to 25 = error "couldnt load manifest file"
2) I can record screen, browser and from web camera and I can record in/out sound stream, but I'm unable to record a specific window of a program.

processor i3
16 gb RAM DDR3
RADEON RX 570 5GB

already tried to lanch app as administrator, set follow many guides in internet but issue still persists

any advices?
 
To update, just download the installer from the main obsproject.com website and run it. You can install over the existing installation and will not lose any of your settings (they're stored in your user profile, not the main install directory).

Some windows need alternate capture methods, depending on the program. What are you trying to capture? If you open Notepad and window capture it, does the capture work?

An i3 is very weak, and will need to use reduced settings to function properly, especially with an AMD GPU.
