Manual Subtitles Live event

Hello,

we are planning to stream a live opera performance. The idea is to add live subtitles (translation) to the stream. So one person will be following the performance, and clicking on the next subtitle text (file?) in appropriate moment. Just like in a theatre. Is something like that possible in OBS?

@KlemenA Place a Text (GDI+) source on your OBS canvas. Set a decent font size and color for viewing, click the Read from file checkbox and create a file it can read from, set the background opacity to 0. Set the Alignment and Vertical Alignment to center, if you want that formatting. Check Use custom text extends and use the Width and Height message boxes to adapt the size of the text source to the lower third of your canvas. When you update and save the file any updated text will appear on screen.
