Majorly Sexy Suggestion

First of all, when trying to make a post in the 'feedback and suggestions' section, I instead get this message "(You have insufficient privileges to post here.)"

So, you guys only want people making suggestions, that have problems?

Anyways, here is my suggestion:

A TON of people have major issues with window record / game record / Etc.

How about making an option, that uses monitor capture mode, but ONLY captures the monitor while a specific game is either A) Open, or even better yet, B) Full Screen?

Seems this would be extremely easy for you guys at OBS to implement, and would solve a LOT of people's headaches.

Surely it is easy to recognize when "x program" is fullscreen, regardless of anything else... ?

And a VERY LARGE majority of the time, it's something the user did and not OBS. (Sweetfx users, I'm glaring menacingly at you here)
Except when they're trying to window capture chrome, then it's actually google's fault (they changed acceleration code in version 50 in such a way that it breaks window capture)

And when you're trying to window capture minecraft, because it's an OpenGL game and you should be using game capture.

All this is also ignoring for the moment that classic stopped getting meaningful updates last year.

Feedback & Suggestions forum is closed because of the mentioned stop in development of OBS-Classic.
All development is done for OBS-Studio and you can post Feedback & Suggestions for it in either the windows/linux or mac forum.

Now to your idea, what you have in mind is easily doable with the Scene Switcher Plugin already. Set it to switch to the monitor scene when the game is active, tell it to switch to a different scene if the game is not active. Should work for both, classic and studio.

My issue is lack of DDRAW support. (Speaking of which, I noticed there is some, so I suppose it is the specific game I am running and the way it uses DDRAW that is not supported?) I did not know classic is not supported, but when I have to manually enable "Studio Mode" it is very easy for me to assume that 'OBS Classic' is referring to the most updated download without 'Studio Mode' on. Pretty confusing TBH.

Thank you for AWESOME response! Big hugs! (But, it wouldn't of hurt my feelings if you moved this to the correct area for me with your Moderator swag!)

Strange, but it works for win7x86, maybe HD5750 don't have acceleration while it still enabled in chrome...

Is OBS Classic still open for download that was mentioned in this post ??

OBS Classic and OBS Studio are two separate pieces of software with different codebases and different installers. They just happen to share a name. Both can currently be downloaded from this site's download page. OBS Studio downloads are currently located at the top of that page. OBS Classic downloads can, for now, be found at the bottom of that page.

However, as noted by other members, OBS Classic is no longer being actively developed. It is no longer getting new features or bug fixes, and it will eventually no longer be supported.
