I currently run OBS studio (newest) with a 6700k, 16gb ram, and a 980ti so I know my computer is not the problem.
Lawbreak only problems:
First off when ever I even have the program open, my games output all drop to 60fps or lower. But the fps counter still says well above 150, I can still tell it is a very low frame rate.
General Problems:
When I put it into studio mode, everything drops to single digits. When even scrolling through a webpage, I can tell that my screen is not outputting 144hz (which my monitor is) when obs studio is open, similar to the lag when generally running in lawbreakers.
I have tried all of the different settings (cpu settings and compatibility modes, even the new proccess priority) and nothing seems to fix it. It just seems like the program is pulling computing power from the game and not what the game isnt using. I have never hit above 85% in cpu usage when running both a game, obs studio, and chrome so I am not being bottle-necked at all. Any of you devs know what is going on? Or is this an underlying optimization issue in the current build?
Thanks!
