I got a new computer just for gaming a few months ago.
nVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080,
Core i7-7700k @4.20GHz,
16GB RAM.
When I first got OBS, I set the recording settings to 1080p120fps. Everything went fine, recordings were smooth, my pc handled it easily.
Now, about 2 months of smooth recording, it just won't.
As soon as I start obs, and the Game Capture connects to the game (in the latest case, Minecraft), fps goes down from 300+ (with and without vsync) to around 10-20. I don't even have to be recording, just the preview in obs drops it.
OBS just started doing this, and I have no idea what's wrong. I've tried setting the recording settings to 720p60, 720p30 lowest, and nothing works. Not even clearing the OBS recording path, or setting the Adapter to either x264 or NVENC.
I attached the latest log of this happening in Minecraft, which used to record smoothly at 1080p120fps with no vsync.
Thanks much.
