Question / Help Major FPS Drops

So I use OBS Studio to record all of my games, and this problem started happening around 3 days ago. I used to drop about 60-100 fps when recording with my normal settings, until this problem started occuring. Using Minecraft for example. I usually range from 1000-1500 FPS in Minecraft depending on chunks, entities etc. When I start recording I drop to 30-4 FPS. I've fiddled with all the recording and streaming settings and the only one I can find that makes a HUGE difference is changing my recording from 60 FPS to 10 FPS, which just makes the video frammy and is quite annoying to deal with. This also happens if I just have it open in background not recording. I didn't edit any of my settings before this started happening, which is why I'm confused. It seemed really sudden. I also tried the old, normal OBS and that didn't seem to work either.
