Major drop in kb/s and pixelated/completely gray screen during Twitch streaming

So I like to stream on Twitch every so often and I eventually always come to this problem where the kb/s goes very low and sometimes even makes the viewers' screen look completely gray. This doesn't happen all the time, in fact, I generally have 2500 to 3500 kb/s usually, but since my livestreams generally tend to be about an hour, this problem happens about once, and while it usually resolves itself eventually (like in a few minutes), it still annoys me that I can't give my viewers a perfect view into my game. Any help, suggestions, or ideas?

The bitrate drop is do to network congestion. OBS is doing it's job with dynamic bitrate and not dropping any frames.
Try connecting your PC straight to your modem so you are the only one on the network. If you have a modem/router combo, turn off the wireless and only have your ethernet cord plugged in.

Thanks for the idea, but how do I turn my wireless off while keeping my Ethernet cable online?

Lookup you router online and you should be able to determine if it has 100mbps ports or gigabit. If you can't, post the model number of your router.
If your router does have gigabit, try different ports. If all the ports still register as 100mps, try a different cable.
You can turn off wireless by logging into your router. This will not effect Ethernet as that is a wired connection.
