Question / Help Magic: The Gathering Online black screen for Windows/Game Capture

I am attempting to stream Magic: The Gathering Online, and it appears that only monitor capture is successful.
Game capture displays nothing.
Window capture only shows the cursor. It also appear that the cursor leaves trails in this mode, that never disappear.
Monitor Capture works, but has many limitations and I would prefer to use other methods if possible.
Note that I have selected and attempted each option available in both game (Multi adapter compatibility, Anti-Cheat) and windows capture, to no avail.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
The attached log file is a scene with only a windows capture of MTGO.EXE window. There is nothing else.

That log can be found here:

Do window and game capture work on other windows and games? It may just be an issue with how the game itself renders things.

Every other game I have tried works flawlessly with OBS.
Windows capture used to work with the Legacy Version of OBS, on Windows 7, in a minimal capacity. Only the secondary windows spawned by Magic Online could be window captured, not the main one. Windows Aero would have also needed to be disabled. I used to have to select "Capture Layered Windows" for it to not be a black screen.
On OBS Studio, that option does not appear to be present.

MTGO doesn't use DX / OpenGL so game capture won't work, and since it spawns multiple windows display capture is unfortunately the only decent option.

So I guess it was my mistake to upgrade to windows 10 then..
Just want to reiterate that on OBS Legacy, windows 7, aero disabled, window capture is functional. "Captured Layered Windows" needs to be enabled to do so.
On OBS Studio, windows 8 and 10, it appears that aero cannot be disabled, and window captured does not work. In addition the "Captured Layered Windows" option does not exist.
So I am out of luck in that regard?
