Question / Help MacOS easy localhost rtmp server (?)

Hi found this nifty little utility on GitHub : https://github.com/sallar/mac-local-rtmp-server.
It allows noobs like me to stream from OBS to my 'own' rtmp server running on localhost, which is quite something...
Now I have a few questions :
- is there any alternative for easily running a local rtmp server on MacOS (with GUI please) ? The little app seems quite limited in options.
- is there a way to have OBS streaming securely to the local rtmp server ?
- any way to reduce the lag ?
- is there a way to have some sort of two-way streaming with OBS (allowing the other party to ask live questions f.ex.)?

Did you ever figure out how to reduce the lag with this setup? I am using the same Mac app to stream to another computer running OBS to feed in a camera feed into a 24/7 live stream. The frame rate is very low. Were you able to improve performance or find a better solution?
