Late to the pack it seems.
I am new to OBS and learning. All guidance, truly appreciated.
I have spent the better half of the day searching the WWW, without much success.
I am unable to make OBS' virtual camera appear as options in MS Teams or Skype settings. Not sure if it is because I am doing something wrong installing or configuring OBS, or if there is a bug with the virtual camera feature in the app.
I am on macOS 12.2, running OBS 26.1.2. on my 15" MBP using the built-in FaceTime HD Camera.
What frustrates me is that I am unable to confirm if the issue is software related and that I just need to be patient for a fix to be released, or if it is my setup/configuration.
What I can tell is that when OBS is running, and the Virtual Camera is switched on, I don't get a preview image anymore in the settings of Teams or Skype (even though the built-in FaceTimeHD camera is selected). I also don't get the option in either app of the OBS virtual camera.
Any help or guidance is much appreciated.
