Question / Help MacBook Gameplay issues

Hey everyone , Theprince65 here. I am playing on an xbox one , with an legato HD60 S connected to both my xbox one & MacBook . i have spent 2 1/2 hours trying to figure out how i add my gameplay to OBS , and nothing has worked . No game capture pops up , windows capture does not work , the closest i got was on window display but yet it doesn't show my direct gameplay just an infinite number of screens . If someone could please help me , id much appreciate it . thank you .

That Elgato device is not compatible with OBS on MacOS. You should use their software or exchange that device for one that has MacOS drivers (Magwell, BlackMagic, or Elgato CamLink).
